Birthday Party!

On Sunday we had some family and friends over to celebrate Peighton turning one on Wednesday. We have been preparing for the last week and a half or so. Andy cleaning, organizing and cooking; me crafting, baking and more crafting!

We were going to have a giant party with about 50 people, but then decided to just keep it low key and at our home. A Peighton gets older and makes more and more friends, I figure the parties will start to actually be more for the kids and not for us adults visiting and having beverages :)

I love owls for Peighton, so it was a no brainer that I would throw her a "Look Who's turning One" party.
I found an adorable Etsy seller who had the perfect images, so I purchased the files from her and printed things out myself.

Once I had the invites picked out, I had to have Peighton's party outfit made. I didn't get any good ones of her in it, so we will try and have a photo shoot on Wednesday so you all can see how cute it is! Check out Leo & Lyla on Facebook!

Pinterest is amazing and the devil at the same time. Check out what I came up with:

Many, many, many hours spent on my Cricut machine. It says "Owl love you forever, Owl like you for always, As long as I'm living, My baby you'll be."

Wreath on the front door welcoming our guests

Steamers on the ceiling!

Ribbon garland and Paper poms in the corner

Funfetti cupcakes and coordinating toppers

Peighton's smash cake

Time to open presents

New book from Aunt Sarah & Uncle Tony

She loved everyone singing to her!
